"Worth the drive or Uber to this neighborhood gem. Smallish and personal makes for a great place and Pasta D'Arte benefits from it. we had a very large group and they put us at a great table and were attentive from the get go.

Wine and cocktails quickly delivered. Beet Salad, Octopus, Squid were ordered and brought hot and and satisfied all. Oh yeah, also got the artichokes. Huge artichokes at that. Octopus also excelled in white beans.

(and the table upon arrival had baskets with two wonderful breads which were refilled as needed. parm cheese and their house relishes (spicy and pickled and heavenly) forced us to consume much bread and relishes (giardiniera i believe)

Main dishes were all brought together in spite of our large group. all were huge as they say. chicken, steaks, risotto, raviolis, at least 1 pasta and another salad were all tasted by the group and totally enjoyed. there were no mistakes, failures or disappointments.

Only had more wine and birthday cake with candle for the main man. no other desserts. I bet they are good...

Manager took our order, owner and chef stopped by to wish dad a happy birthday and make sure everything was ok. it was.

Return often. Go for the first time. Reasonable prices for fine Chicago dining, large portions (lunch for tomorrow for sure). Free valet and street parking.
